Donald Trump’s Son Eric SLAMS Brad Pitt As ‘Smug Elitist’, Blames His Political Oscars Speech For Low Ratings
The 2020 Oscars took place recently at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and it was a big day for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star Brad Pitt as the four-time Academy Award nominee won his first-ever Academy Award for acting. He took the opportunity to give a political speech by taking a jibe at the senators who voted against the Democrats’ request to call new witnesses at the President of US Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. Now, Donald Trump’s son Eric has called out Brad Pitt and has blamed his political speech for the low Oscars ratings.

On Monday, the Instagram page of Fox Business shared a picture of Brad Pitt holding the Academy Award and posted "Oscars ratings fall 25 per cent to all-time low." Sharing a screenshot of the same on his Instagram account, Eric Trump slammed Brad as ‘smug elitist.’ In the caption, he wrote, “Probably because Americans don’t liked to be preached to by smug elitists. The elegance has been lost and America has tuned these people out of their homes...” Eric’s followers agreed with him. One comment read, “I proudly do not watch any awards shows for that reason,” while another comment read, “Literally couldn’t make it through 1 award without politics being brought up... like it actually affects these types people. No thanks.” ALSO READ: Donald Trump Snubbed, Wife Melania Trump Avoids His Puckered Lips By Turning Her Cheek- AWKWARD

Brad Pitt, in his acceptance speech at the 92nd Academy Awards, had said, “They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week. I’m thinking maybe Quentin (Tarantino) does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”For those unaware, National Security Adviser John Bolton had claimed that he was willing to testify.
